Cookie time...whip out that katana and sweep up all the cookies in the world!
During my class presentation yesterday, I had a good laugh! One of my pupils was very loud and confident and he demonstated how he could balance a metal ruler on his nose and it wouldn't fall off even when his face was straight! And he also balanced it on his elbow. All of us roared with laughter and I asked him if he had anything sticky on his metal ruler. I even made one of the boys check his ruler and there was no adhesive on it. And I asked him to do the same tricks with a plastic ruler and he could do the same thing although not so well. Then, many of my pupils did the trick too. It was so funny! And today, another boy presented and talked about his best friend who is my class monitor (so poor thing. He fell off his bicycle and although only suffered cuts on his knee, his lip had to be stitched and one of his front tooth dropped out and he had to get it stitched back somehow too! He is only 11! Poor thing. When I saw him after his 3-day MC, my heart ached, man!). It was so touching as this boy was moving to Sengkang and would transfer school next year. He also showed two pictures of them together. I told them they must make sure they keep in touch through telephones, etc! This morning, one of the senior teachers guessed how old I was. She was like You are in your twenties, right? So i said OF COS! NEED YOU ASK! Then she guessed that I was 25!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hehehehehe! :D
