It's Diet Time!!

Friday, September 29, 2006 - Meaningful birthday at Hard Rock Cafe :

I finally was taught how to put up the photos nicely! Haha! I went for lunch at Hard Rock Cafe with Agnes, Pia and Siti today. Very good set lunch! And it is till 3p.m. I had sirloin steak and clam chowder. YUM! And the Coke was refillable, like in US! Hehe! And I had a free sundae for my birthday! It is not as good as the mudpie, I must say! And they put a candle in it and the three girls sang me a birthday song. And Hard Rock Cafe staff took a polaroid and put it into a card! And the three girls signed on it. Too bad Michelle couldn't go with us cos she had some mid-autumn festival stuff to do :( I would have loved it for her to be there! Anyway, this picture is very meaningful to me and I will laminate it to lengthen its lifespan. And I will put it at my staff room desk! And I bought two pendants after that! I feel so guilty but they are so pretty! :D

Ah, now I put up my precious Tinkerbell! She sleeps almost ALL the time and she is very hard to wake up! She is rather old now. 2 and a half years old. She is blind now, I think but she is still eating and sleeping as usual. I hope she lives until she is at least 3 years old! My darling! :D

I woke up so late today! 6.45 p.m. The sky was so bright when I woke up! So I knew I was in deep shit! Anyway, I panicked but was calm enough to call Michelle who was very kind and came to pick me up in 10 minutes! I am so grateful to her because I was not late in the end! Luckily, I had planned what to wear and jewellery and makeup too! So i did my simple makeup in her car! And I still look dressed up! AHAHAHAHAH! PHEW! :D

Wednesday, September 27, 2006 - Mojojojo :

Hmm, I decided to put up a picture of Mojojojo when he was sleeping! Look at the position! So adorable! And look at how it is sitting! Like his hand is on top of another. And the other picture is of him holding his water bottle! As if he is posing!! And the other one is Steward, my student's hamster. He had a fungal infection lately. Poor little hammie! Ooops, time to go home now!

Tuesday, September 26, 2006 - Hady wins! :

Yay, Hady is the Singapore Idol! I have always liked him! :D But I am such a cheapskate that I did not call in to vote. In fact, last season, I only voted ONCe for Taufik! Heheheheh! :D Jonathan is good too, tonnes better than Sylvester, really! But I like Hady better. In fact, when he smiles, the whole room is lit up, I think!

My student (whose mother is a pain in the neck) told me the nurse said she needed to wear glasses but her parents cannot afford them. So sad! I will move her to the front of the classroom then. But that is surely not the best solution. It seems there are only vouchers available for her at the end of the year and only the frame is free or something. Poor girl! I thank God I am so much fortunate than her in that sense.

Monday, September 25, 2006 - No manicure and pedicure in school :

My principal did not approve to let the teachers have manicure and pedicure in school. It is not unexpected though. I don't even think she knows what they are. Too bad lah......

- No. of Tabasco sauce bottles :

I had dinner with my boss a few months ago at Fish & Co. and I had nothing better to do. I filled in a contest form to guess the number of mini Tabasco sauce bottles there were in a container. I guessed 699 just for fun. And I won a consolation prize! But it is only a $20 voucher and I have to go all the way to Boon Lay to collect it by this Friday! Not sure if it is worth it for me to do that lah! Oh, I now hear the voice of that person who pissed me off on Friday! She was trying to tell me that the end classes' performances were not interesting and no up to her standard so she could just leave at that time. I shall not go into detail about this! Ah, I like the Che Che New York bags at Isetan Scotts.. but they cost $350 or so, so I still have to think about them since they are not on sale during the private sale this Thursday :( Oh, Towkay Loo is back and he did buy me my RMK makeup! Just not the blusher, so I'm very happy as RMK is no longer available in Singapore! Yay! Finally, I get some entertainment again! HAHAHA!!!!!

- Not so windy! :

Wow, after a long massage yesterday and tummy candling (i kept looking at the flame cos i was so afraid the masseuse would drop the candle and burn me!), my stomach feels quite good today! Not so bloated! Hehe! I'm so happy! :) I couldn't believe that she was a grandmother! She looked MID-thirties to me! Her older daughter is already 21 and married. Wow! And I saw my boss with a man! Hehe! Walking so lovingly... more than just holding hands! Hehehe! So i teased her but I did not manage to find out who he is. AIYAH! And Friday, someone pissed me off at the Primary 5 presentation in the hall! Bloody hell!

Tuesday, September 19, 2006 - Working again! :

Ah, back at work after a horrible bout of dunno stomach flu or something. Doctor said it was viral infection. Only on Sunday did my stomach revert back to normal! Still bloated though :(
I had a nice buffet lunch with Michelle. This time, I did not find a matching pearl for my lucky pearl that I carry in my wallet :( And we had manicure too! Aiyah, my nails on left hand have chipped slightly :( Usually, it is the right hand that chips first though. Strange! I actually told my boss that I am looking to go to another place. She is not happy and asked me why. So i really complained a lot of stuff about the school! But I am still just looking for greener pastures first. If i go for an interview at a school I want to go to but am unsuccessful, then, i might as well stay here since I may end up in another 'hellhole'! At least there is familiarity here!

Friday, September 15, 2006 - NAUSEA TODAY :

Finally back to work. Dunno what the hell is wrong with my stomach. I had the same viral infection as I did in May. But tat was worse. I vomitted too. This time, the fever was not so high. But I still had the same muscle and joint aches and my stomach had so much wind, I had to go to the toilet very often and sat there for a long time! :(((((((((((((( Couldnt sleep too! Funnily, today, when I have no more diarrhoea and wind problem, I feel nauseous! :((((((((((((((( I hope I can eat well tomorrow. I have been eating little and boring food like porridge and vegetable soup for the past two days! And I lay down and patted my belly again and again, as if that would alleviate anything! LOL! Aiyoh, I have to be internal invigilator for PSLE listening comprehension today. And listen to the CD to make sure it is working. BORING! And I can only go off at 1 p.m. although it finishes at 12 noon! HMMPH!

Tuesday, September 12, 2006 - Falling sick :

Geez, it's only the second day of the term and I think Im falling sick. I know cos my bones in my arms are aching, like how they did when I fell big time sick in April..... I don't feel goodddddddddd :((((((((((((((((((((( And it came on when I was teaching in class.. Almost did not make it through remedial class. It is getting worse. I must go home soon! Tomorrow, I have to take Clarissa Leong to Singapore Polytechnic to receive an award. Dunno what to tell Irene, man! Eyes closing.................... feeling drowsy without taking any medicine..............

Monday, September 11, 2006 - New term :

It's already Term 4. It's the first day and it is already so hectic! I bought Ice Age chocolates for Juita, Zahida, Uma, Jayce and Choon Heng and I wrote a short note for each of them. I hope they like it. Irene gave them expensive chocolates so it's like a stark contrast to the cute chocolates I gave them! LOL! Very nice of her. And Im glad she stayed on the second day to help us to pack. Im glad she did not just come when the Guest of Honour was there. In fact, I had the opportunitiy to shake hands with General Lim Chuan Poh's hand twice when he was at our booth. Im going to Fernvale Pri with Agnes today for SS meeting. Im so glad we can have a decent lunch outside the school, although it is only at the hawker centre, before we take a cab to the school. After the meeting, we can go shopping at Compass Point for a while! :)) Wah, I have plenty of things to mark. Hope I can be disciplined enough to mark 2 stacks of Mathematics worksheets tonight!

Sunday, September 10, 2006 - End of the holidays :

Tomorrow is the beginning of term 4.... how time flies! Especially when one is busy! I don't look forward to this term. I have to have an extra day of supplementary class and another day for remedial. And I still have other projects to do :( But at least they are less now. I found a tiny weeny pearl in my cheese oyster at plaza hotel yesterday! How exciting! I decided to keep it as it is special. Never have I found a pearl in all the oysters I have eaten! I hope it brings me good luck. I am quite lucky but i need more good luck! My Mojojojo looks fine although his bald spot is still bald. But my Tinkerbell has gone blind, I think. Her pupils have changed colour :( I'm so sad as this means her days are numbered. I'd better make time to carry her for a while every day and talk to her! I dunno why but I have no mood to do work. It's Charlie's Angels on TV now. I will watch it and add some diamante to my toenails! LOL!

Friday, September 08, 2006 - Legs are breaking! :

Im at the ICET exhibition and its the second day. Cant wait for the day to be over. It is so tiring and my legs are breaking and my eyes are closing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The holidays are almost over :(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((( and now, i have to conduct another day of supplementary lessons and probably another day for remedial lessons . And when school reopens, Jes expects me to be able to give her the skeleton of the new project we are involved in. And i wasnt even interested in the handouts she gave to me... My TK friends marvelled at how I could roll my eyes when I was talking about certain people from school! Those of you in my school will probably know who I am talking about! ;)))) Hmm, Irene just suddenly sprang up at the exhibition today. Scary! LOL!!! But things were going fine. No worries! Hmm, tomorrow I meet Peiyi for lunch. Yay! I hope she likes my birthday presents for her.

Tuesday, September 05, 2006 - All work and no play makes me a dull girl! :

Sigh, holiday time but work, work, work. My skin is suffering cos of work! I wonder how long I can put up with work. Right after the ICET, I am involved in some other project with Jes, Shean and Dewi. And i have to start thinkin of the skeleton of the project. No time to rest, even! One after another! :( I really think now that my happiness is more important than any post! And i had to hand in some heuristics worksheets to be checked by Jes today. Super stressed. Im sure she will come and breathe down my neck soon. And i only managed to do one set of worksheets. So im sure the breathing will be harder! Geez! Im so glad Im so afraid I will forget to do or bring something for ICET. I keep writing things down but I still forget sometimes! Thank goodness Towkay Loo (a.k.a Benson) will be at ICET for the next 3 days. Cos my booth cannot do without that Towkay! I feel more assured that everything will go smoothly with him at a booth nearby. He has many ideas to salvage situations although they sometimes make me roll my eyes! And he has seen me do that a lot, I think! HAHA! Cant wait for the dec holidays to be here. I havent gotten the leave approval from Miss Chong yet. She had better not disapprove! Well, I'm going to Europe for 3 weeks to recuperate! I really cannot wait. Im sure I will enjoy myself! In fact, I already miss Korea! No more CSI to entertain me :( I have to wait for Criminal Minds to come on at 11.30p.m. Such a long time to wait! Ok, time to check on my MOJOJOJO. I don't dare to touch him. I'm afraid he is grouchy from the skin condition and will bite me!

- MOJOJOJO! :

Oh, My MOJOJOJO has fungal infection, I think! The hair below his right ear is gone! :( I wonder what happened to him but he seems fine. He doesnt seem bothered by it. But Im so busy. No time to take him to the vet! My poor darling! First thing I do when I wake up is to take a look at him and wake him up to see if he is Okay. Sigh, my poor darling. I already don't have enough time to play with them.. :( Hope the bald patch doesnt get bigger!

- BABY BOOM! :

Today, I went to Agnes' new house in Punggol. So nice and cosy! Like a hotel suite!!!!!!!!!! and the Plasma tv is BIGGGGG! :))))) and Pia, Serena and Siti brought their babies. SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!! Baby galore there! LOL!!!!! Gabriel looks so Japanese. Pravin was mischievous but very adorable! And Adrianne was so quiet and angelic!!! Aiyah, I had kopi for breakfast. I forgot to tell Benson I don't really drink kopi. I only drink the branded (not that Killiney Kopitiam isn't branded!)kinda coffee lah. Or else, I cannot sleep lah! Now, I don't think I can sleep! :( And yet I am sleepy! DIe man, Dunno how Im gonna sleep tonite! I have work to do tonight anyway. Marking and preparing Grammar worksheets but I dont feel like doing them lah! Tomorrow is ICET preparation at Expo. Wah, I hope nothing goes wrong or my head will roll! Irene will personally chop it off with a machete, I think! Anyway, my WHOLE Sep holidays are burnt except for Wed morning. I shall sleep late!!!!!!!!!! THen, I go lunch with Dr Lubna! YAY! We havent decided where to go though. Hmmm.......... I hope we have something yummy!
